Striking New Mural in Muir of Ord Delivers a Vital Mental Health Message

A new mural at The Tarradale Chippy in Muir of Ord, commissioned by Mikeysline, aims to encourage dialogue about mental health and suicide prevention. Created by artist Marc Delaye, the whimsical artwork features a Willy Wonka-like character enjoying fries in a fantastical forest, underscoring Mikeysline’s support services in Scotland.

If Streets Could Talk

In 2020, young people faced significant challenges, prompting small group interactions within a youthwork framework to foster social connections. A notable project involved a collaboration with writer Alan Bissett, where care-experienced young Scots expressed their experiences through a mural created with street artist Marc Delaye, showcasing their resilience and creativity.
